Air Evac Life Team No. 96 from Jesup recently conducted a landing-zone safety class for members of volunteer fire departments from Lake George, Midway and Riceboro and a member of Liberty County’s CERT Program. The Riceboro Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department hosted the training. Riceboro Chief Dennis Fitzgerald said the training is important for the safety of the first responders and for those who are involved in such incidents.
