Hinesville Police Department detectives are investigating the shooting of a 17-year-old Bradwell Institute student Sunday night during an armed robbery on the 100 block of Deal Street.
 
According to an incident report filed by Hinesville Officer Timothy Smith, who was first on the scene shortly before 10 p.m., Davion Benson was found with bullet wounds in his arm and stomach.  According to Smith, the bullet entered the teen’s left forearm and lodged in the left side of his chest.
