Hinesville Police Detective Elizabeth S. Jackson recently was promoted to the rank of lieutenant in the detectives division of the HPD.
Jackson is filling the position vacated by Capt. Chris Reid, who has been assigned to command the MACE Drug Task Force.
She has been with HPD since 1985 and has served as a detective since 1995. Jackson is a lifelong resident of Hinesville.
