April 4: A deputy was called to Wayside Turn by a woman who said her washer and dryer had been stolen.

The woman’s neighbor said two men in a black Chevy pickup took the appliances, which were white with black trim on top, from the woman’s backyard. The serial numbers for the washer and dryer were not available.

The woman said she drove by a house on Oak Hill Road in Bryan County and saw the washer and dryer in the back of a pickup parked there.
