A Ludowici man was arrested Tuesday and charged with sexual exploitation of children.
Long County Sheriff’s Office Chief Investigator Nickey Anderson said Howard Frank Horn, 63, was apprehended after evidence linked him to the exchange of child pornography over the Internet.
The detective said the arrest was the result of a joint investigation between the LCSO and the Georgia Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force. Evidence gathered during the effort allegedly reveals Horn used peer-to-peer computer file sharing to obtain child pornography.
According to Anderson, law enforcement officials downloaded several video files from Horn’s home computer, some of which contained child pornography. Anderson said Horn allegedly offered these files to others on the Internet.
