Severe thunderstorms are forecast for our area Tuesday afternoon.
The National Weather Service’s Charleston Office issued a hazardous weather outlook this morning, saying that even tornadoes are possible.
A cold front is expected to move through bringing the storms, “which could become severe with damaging winds, large hail and possibly isolated tornadoes. The most likely time for severe weather is between 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. with the greatest chances near and east of Interstate 95.”
The Liberty County Emergency Management Agency reported that the outlook is for all of the county.
