Police Chief Robert Poppell said officers made an arrest after hearing about an Oct. 4 robbery on South Macon Street. After investigating, officers found Wayne County resident Terry Lee in possession of jewelry taken from the residence. He said Lee also had morphine and Xanax with her.Lee was arrested and charged with theft by taking and possession of prescription pills out of an original container.Earlier, Poppell said that on Sept. 26 a citizen reported a vehicle swerving all over Highway 301 as it was heading into Ludowici.
