A Midway home sustained damage during the storm that swept through the east end of Liberty County Thursday afternoon.

The home at 203 Winoca Drive sustained damage when a tree fell on it, damaging an area where a bedroom was located, Liberty County Emergency Management Agency Deputy Director Larry Logan said.

The family can stay remain in the home, and an insurance adjuster will be out Friday to assess the damage.
