ATLANTA (AP) -- Special needs students at three public schools in Georgia will share $1 million, courtesy of state schools Superintendent Kathy Cox.
Cox won the cash Friday night on the Fox television game show, "Are You Smarter than a 5th Grader?".
Cox said the winnings will be doled out to schools that serve deaf and blind students in Macon, Clarkston and Cave Springs.
Educators at the schools said they were excited and pleased about the cash gift.
