An early morning wreck Thursday in McIntosh County claimed the lives of two motorists. Five vehicles were involved in an accident near mile marker 61 southbound on I-95.  McIntosh Sheriff Stephen Jesup said another person was critically injured and multiple motorists were sent to local area hospitals.  Jesup said the accident was spread over a 1000-foot area.  

 Traffic was being diverted off of I-95 by Liberty County Sheriff’s Deputies and rerouted onto Highway 17 towards Townsend.
