The City of Walthourville has changed their virtual meeting date for the discussion of their FY 2021 City budget. The virtual public hearing scheduled for Monday Nov. 30th, has been rescheduled to 5 p.m. Tuesday Dec. 8, at the Walthourville Police Department in the Council Chamber. The 2021 proposed operating budget is for the City’s General and Water Funds for the period of January 1st, 2021 to December 31st, 2021. A copy of the proposed budget summary will be available at City Hall in the outdoor bulletin board.
The complete proposed budget will be available on the city’s website. The adoption of the 2021 Budget Resolution is scheduled for a Special Called Meeting at 6 p.m. on Thursday Dec. 17, at the Walthourville Police Department.
The City will conduct a virtual public hearing due to COVID-19 and adhering to social distancing guidelines.
