The WIC Farmer’s Market program is planned for 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. June 4 in the back parking lot of the Liberty County Health Department.
Fresh produce from the market may be purchased or exchanged for WIC vouchers each Monday from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and Thursday, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
This schedule will remain in effect throughout June. Afterward, the Farmer's Market will only be open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursdays. The Liberty market will remain open through October 2007.

In Long County, the farmer’s market will be available from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesdays on June 5 to Oct. 30 at the Long County Health Department.
WIC vouchers may also be exchanged for produce at Cason's Farm on 2528 Beards Creek Church Road in Glennville from 6-9 p.m. Monday through Saturday. For more information, call the Long County Health Department at 545-2107.
