A woman was found dead in a mobile home park on the 10,000 block of Tibet Road late Monday evening.

According to Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) Special Agent in Charge, Richard Dial and Long County Sheriff’s Office Detective, Lt. Tom Sollosi, the woman’s body was discovered around 11:30 p.m. by Long County Sheriff’s Deputy, Matt Rhodes.

A vehicle parked outside a mobile home at the Calhoun Acres Mobile Home Park, formerly Country Manor MHP, was towed away. Sollosi said there is some concern the vehicle played a part in the incident but would not elaborate.

Dial said there is no indication the woman was a resident of the mobile home park.

Sollosi said they are not currently seeking anyone for the homicide, but they are following leads and developing new information.

Neither officer would confirm how the woman died but did say they are investigating it as a homicide.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Long County Sheriff’s office at 912-545-2118 or 911.
