The Hinesville Military Affairs Committee will have an Operation Yellow Bow Ceremony at 4:30 p.m. Monday at Veterans Park on Main Street and Memorial Drive.
"We've hung a lot of yellow bows already, this is our official ceremony," HMAC member P.J. Schnieder said. "We do this to show our support to our soldiers and their families. We also do it to hope for the quick and safe return for all the soldiers," he said.
Third Infantry Division commanding general Maj. General Rick Lynch, Hinesville Mayor Pro Tem David Anderson and Liberty County Commission Chairman John McIver are expected to speak.
