Long lines at the polls.ahhhhhh!
Letter to the Editor generic

For those who have served in the military standing in oft long lines, ‘HURRY UP AND WAIT’ was a well-known mantra.

Following my service, even though I promised myself never to ‘do that again’, every election I did it again to fulfill my responsibility and Right to Vote.

With the advent of early voting one would think the long lines (sometime VERY long lines) we often see on Election Day itself would be a thing of the past.  Unfortunately, not.

For me though NEVER again.

With 3 weeks + 1 day to Early/Advance Vote I figure since my last name begins in the middle of the alphabet, to avoid long lines I should vote sometime near the end of the second week.

Name begins with A-G, vote sometime the 1st week, S – Z vote the last week.  No fuss, no muss, NO ‘HURRY UP AND WAIT.

Just my 2 cents.
