Seven Ministries of Liberty County, Inc. will host it’s Annual Back to School Rally on July 31, 2021 at Rebecca’s Place (across from First Calvary Missionary Baptist Church) from 10-11am.  The event is sponsored by ESG-Operations.

Seven Ministries is a 501c3 non-profit organization incorporated in 2012.  Due to the pandemic, this year’s event will be drive thru and we’re asking cars with children to line up at Hineshaw Elementary School on Shipman Avenue, and head south onto Rebecca Street where supplies will be distributed.  Children not in cars are welcome to walk up and participate.

We did not have our annual fundraiser (The Jackie Gilliard-Henderson Memorial Scholarship Walk-a-Thon) but we were blessed to award eight scholarships to graduating seniors of the county’s two public high schools.  When awarding these scholarships, we always honor the memory of friends that are deceased.  This year our winners are from Bradwell Institute: Faviola Santiago (Mrs. Ethel Baker), Myia King (Mrs. Betty Lynch), Jailyn Hancock (Roberta Gilliard-Baker), Andrea Lopez (Mr. and Mrs. Johnnie Riles), Ti’Andrea Alston (Mr. Willie King). Winners from Liberty County High School: Jasmin Gaines (Mr. William Varnedoe), Madison Wasdin (deceased members of the Ernestine Taylor Family), and Emma Ferguson (Mrs. Bertha Reid).

The Lord has blessed our ministry of giving and we want to thank those that made monetary donations in the absence of our fundraiser.  It’s our prayer that 2022 will allow us to resume our normal operations.

Hope to see you on the 31st…..

God Bless,
