Thanks for helping sick childs family

I would like to take a moment to say thank  you to all the kindhearted and loving people in our community who have helped my daughter, Victoria Marie Hall. She likes to be called Vicky.
As many of you know, on Feb. 16, 2011, my wife, Monika, and I were told that our then-4-year-old daughter had acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Naturally frightened and distraught at first, we knew we had to look strong for our other children, who did not know what was wrong with their baby sister.
Throughout this ordeal, we’ve been the recipients of many prayers, well wishes and fundraisers. I can say my daughter is very lucky to live in this community. All the families, friends, businesses, churches and wonderful people in Long, Liberty, Tattnall, Wayne, McIntosh and other counties have provided an outpouring of love and care, which has blessed our daughter for the rest of her life.
I would like to mention “Scar Shield” for traveling from Dallas, Texas, though he also has cancer and is quite ill.
Vicky is well for now. Her leukemia is in remission. We were able to celebrate her fifth birthday on Nov. 9. And I know in my heart that with all the love from our small, South Georgia community, she will be healthy and strong for many years to come. God bless everyone, and may you and all your beloved friends and families have a merry Christmas and an excellent new year.
I’d also like to thank all the churches that helped out, Walt Pelton, Sheriff Cecil Nobles and the Long County Sheriff’s Office, Billy Strickland, Realty Executives, Danny Norman, Wayne Dasher, Huddle House, Jennifer’s Big Apple, Tina “McFann” Skipper, Craig Nobles, the Ludowici Police Department, the Ludowici/Long County Fire Department, T.J. Gaskins, Wingmen Motorcycle Club, North Long County Fire Station Ladies Auxiliary, The Heritage Bank, Ludowici Bank, Altamaha Credit Union, Long County Board of Education, Bettsy Fisher and Stewart Realty and Satellite Tracking of People.
