Editor, The members of Hinesville Military Affairs Committee would like to thank everyone in the community who contributed to the silent auction held during the second annual Veterans Salute on Nov. 1.  
The businesses and individuals who donated items to the auction include Chili’s, Country Oak BBQ, Doug Harn, Full Bubble Furniture, Gata’s Sports Bar, GeoVista Credit Union, The Heritage Bank, Izola’s, JJ’s Bar and Grill, Kroger, Ladies of the Stars and Stripes Quilting Guild, Lowe’s, McDonald’s, Morning Glory Garden Club, Ng Photography, Paul Spence, VIP Office Furniture and Supply, Walmart and Zaxby’s.  
With their support and some very competitive bidders who braved the cold, windy conditions, the silent auction raised $1,000.  This money will be donated by HMAC for the construction of the Veterans Memorial Walk.
