Even after starting out with a forfeit due to traffic, the Liberty County 10U girls all-star basketball team won the Georgia Recreation and Parks Association State Championship March 7 (see story on page 1B). The team consists of  Kennedy Bell, Janiyah Blevins, Ariana Fields, Saniya Garner, Heather Garrett, Za’Mani Green, Maya Hallmon, Destini McLemore, TaJah’nae Selders and Zanniah Stewart.

The team was coached by Kenneth Bell.
