Alumni association helping develop players

The Long County Alumni Golf Association, represented by Gene Davis, Darrell Balance and Steven Moore, recently donated a Sony Video Camera to the Walker Middle School football team, represented by coaches William Hadley, Jon Willis and Paul Austin. Each year the LC association takes on a project for the Long County Schools. Much of the money is raised by a golf tournament. This year’s was at Cherokee Rose Country Club on Sept. 25.
