

The Bradwell Institute Tigers held the Statesboro Blue Devils to 11 points over a 20-minute stretch and posted a 62-42 win Saturday in their regular season finale.
The Tigers seized control of the game with a 13-0 run in the third quarter, opening a commanding 39-22 lead, capped by Tahshaun Frasier’s three-point play. Jahzhia Thomas’ hanging jumper at the buzzer pushed the lead to 47-22.
Frasier led all scorers with 19 points, and Elyjah Thurmon recorded another double-double, with 17 points and 14 rebounds.
Ja’Mar Price had seven points, Rishard Money added six and Chris Perry chipped in five points.
Bradwell finished the regular season at 14-8 overall and 6-4 in Region 1-AAAAA.
The Bradwell girls, ranked No. 4 in the state, secured the region top spot with a convincing 59-32 win over No. 10-ranked Statesboro.
The Lady Tigers, who finished the regular season at 20-3 overall and 9-1 in the region, opened with a 19-5 run and never looked back.
Bailey Gilmore led the way with 17 points, while Taniyah Bowman scored 16 and Parris Parham logged a double with 14 points and 11 rebounds.
Ta’Tayna Anderson and Ja’Nya Bush each had six points.
