The Bradwell girls varsity soccer team finished 8-10-1 in the 2017 regular season

The Bradwell lady Tigers saw their season come to an end with a final record of 8-10-1.

While on the surface that might seem a disappointment to some, the forward evolution of the lady Tigers continued with some tremendous collective and individual performances. The Tigers won 5 consecutive games by shutout. During that period the defense was outstanding and allowed only 7 total shots on goal. During the 5 match win streak most of the match minutes were played in the opponents end of the field. The lady Tigers scored 52 goals this season. And competed with grit and passion.

Elizabeth Hedrick and Martha Hause capped all region and all star seasons with outstanding defensive performances. Hedrick was outstanding at goalie with an 80% save rate. The defense cut down the shots allowed on goal from the 2016 season. Dayle McCaller made strong contributions on both ends of the soccer field and was a tireless competitor.

Madisen Martin was the most versatile player. She was willing to play multiple positions during the 2017 season. Autumn Lee lead the team in scoring with 10 goals, followed by Elizabeth Hedrick with 9 goals, Madisen Martin with 8 goals, Sara Hause with 6 goals, Martha Hause with 5 goals, and Amara Mueller and Dayle McCallar with 4 goals each.

The season concluded with a festive banquet that celebrated the tight knit bond that these fantastic young women have formed with one another. Looking forward the future looks bright for the lady Tigers.
