Bradwell girls win first-round game

Bradwell Institute's girls are moving on.

Bradwell Institute beat visiting Houston County 42-28 on Friday in the first round of the girls' Class AAAAAAA basketball tournament. 

With the win, the No. 1 seed Lady Tigers (17-9) from Region 2-AAAAAA advance to round two of the Georgia High School Association tournament. 

Bradwell will play host to Tucker at 6 p.m. Wednesday.
