Sports in Liberty County are frozen due to in-person learning being discontinued due to COVID-19 trends.

This includes Friday’s yearly Liberty County Panthers and Bradwell Institute Tigers game that was scheduled this Friday at 7:30 in Donell Woods Stadium.

Virtual learning has been set for Aug. 30-Sept. 10.

Sports will not continue until after these dates, cancelling Liberty’s home game against Effingham County on Sept. 3 and Bradwell’s game at West Laurens on Sept. 10.

Both teams are working to reschedule their matchups.
