A six-run fourth inning propelled the Bradwell Institute Lady Tigers softball team to a 10-6 win over Islands in their season opener Saturday.

Heather Garrett was 2-for-2 with two doubles and drove in three runs, and Kira Cruz was 2-for-3 with two RBIs and scored three runs.

Alijah Jones also had two RBIs. Isabella Kadlec, A’Breya Simmons and Janae Robinson each had a hit in the win.

Bradwell will visit Liberty County, 0-5 to start the season, on Monday at 5 p.m. and travel to Statesboro on August 20 for a 5 p.m. game.

The Lady Tigers will have their next home game September 3 against Lakeside at 4 p.m.
