The Bradwell Institute volleyball team continued the hot start to its season with another home play date sweep.

Bradwell downed Tattnall County 25-18 and 25-20 before dispatching Groves 25-12 and 25-7 on August 13.

Bradwell swept its match with Frederica Academy on Tuesday, winning 25-12 and 25-7, but fell 2-1 to the visiting St. Vincent’s Academy Saints.

SVA posted a 25-19, 18-25 and 15-11 win over the Lady Tigers.

Bradwell, 6-2, opens Region 1-6A play today against Effingham County, Brunswick and South Effingham.

Bradwell will meet Woodville-Tompkins and Long County on August 25.
