Bradwell's baseball field to be called Alumni Field

Members and representatives of members of the Bradwell Institute Class AA 1976 state championship baseball team unveil the state title banner at what will now be called Alumni Field.

Bradwell Institute’s baseball field now has a new name, and one that honors its state championship team.

After a request from members of the 1976 Class AA state championship team, Liberty County school board members approved naming the facility Alumni Field.

The Bradwell baseball field, which for many years was called the Harvey Overton Bradwell Booster Club Field, was redone in 2020. Members of the 1976 team will pay all the associated costs for the new name.
