Bradwell's basketball sweeps Richmond Hill

Bradwell Institue’s boys and girls varsity basketball teams won their home conference games against the Richmond Hill Wildcats.

The boys came out on top 69-58, and number 13 senior Cedric Golphin and number 2 junior Cameron Fleming were responsible for scoring nearly two thirds of the points for Bradwell. Fleming was also selected as the Bradwell Institute Basketball Player of the Game. Bradwell boys varsity is set to play away at Brunswick, Friday, Jan. 18.

Bradwell’s girls won by a slimmer margin of 61-60, with senior E. Castro scoring 19 points, and junior Jada Brooks securing 16 points during the game Friday night. With the win, the girls record moves to 10-8, and are scheduled to face off against Brunswick 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 18.
