The Hinesville Hurricanes semi-professional football team will hit the road this weekend for a game against the Middle Georgia Pitbulls. The ’Canes are 4-1, and they defeated the Pitbulls 27-6 on July 10 at home. The game will be at the old West Laurens High School Field and kickoff is set for 7 p.m. CYS in Fort Stewart is hosting a football clinic this weekend and several Hurricanes players will be on hand to teach football fundamentals. The free clinic is open to participants ages 7-12. Registration is open. Camp runs from 8 a.m.- 1 p.m. today and tomorrow. For more information, call 767-1428.
