After spending his freshman, sophomore and junior seasons playing on the hardwood at Liberty County High School, Lazaruss Baggs spent his senior year on the Long County Blue Tide’s basketball court. And on Wednesday afternoon, Baggs made one more move, trading in his Tide jersey for an East Georgia College uniform.

The 6-foot, 5-inch forward also has played for the St. James Coastal Crew Rebels since he was 14, and Rebels founder Ernie Walthour said he knew Baggs would catch EGC Bobcat coach Neil Bailey’s attention.
