Former Liberty County multi-sport athlete Courtney Rhodes is excelling in track at the University of the Cumberlands.
Rhodes set an indoor school record Jan. 31 on the weight throw, clearing 14.13 meters to finish fifth overall at the Indianapolis Challenge.

She placed 10th overall in the shot put on Feb. 7, clearing 12.14 meters at the East Tennessee Invitational meet.
Rhodes is a senior Lady Patriot this year.
