Ludowici’s Faith Baptist Christian Academy Crusaders beat Arthur Christian Mennonites out of Ohio, 80-70, Saturday for the championship of the National Association of Christian Athletes’ tournament in Tennessee.

Crusader Jaquez Motley scored 31 points and had six assists. JJ Frazier hit a double-double with 13 points and 11 rebounds. Jamil Donovan also had a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds.

Tracy Jester pitched in with 11 points. Aaron Power had 8 points, 6 coming from the three-point line.

Jester, Frazier, Donovan and Power were named All Tournament players and Motley got the MVP award.

Last year, the Crusaders missed winning the NACA Championship by three points. Winning the championship this year will allow the team to move up and play in a higher division at another national tournament this week.

The JV Crusaders won the national title as well, going undefeated in Division 4.

Aaron Scott, Kirk Hill, JJ Frazier, Derrick Brooks and Brandon Bell were all credited with helping their team to a 70-22 win.
