Former local athletes prep at West Alabama

Former Liberty County High School and Bradwell Institute football players Jeremy Caldwell-Fabregas and LaBaron Anthony, respectively, wrapped up spring practice at the University of West Alabama with the team’s recent spring game in Livingston, Alabama.
Caldwell-Fabregas, a former Panther linebacker, played in 10 games last year and made 18 solo tackles and three assists, including four tackles for loss of
14 yards, and he recovered a fumble.
Anthony, Bradwell’s former quarterback, rushed for 112 yards on 21 carries, scored a touchdown and was 1 of
3 in passing last year.
The Tigers will start their season Sept. 5 by hosting Stillman College. West Alabama went
5-6 last season and 2-5 in the Gulf South Conference.
