Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College Thunder Football punter Dalton Bryant was named Minnesota College Athletic Conference Eastern Division Special Teams Player of the Week for games played on Aug. 27.

Bryant, a freshman, is a graduate of Liberty County High School.
Bryant used a strong, accurate leg in his punting debut for the Thunder by averaging 38.5 yards for six punts during the Thunder’s 40-19 victory over Minnesota State-Fergus Falls on the road last Saturday. Bryant had a long punt of 51 yards while also pinning the Minnesota State-Fergus

Falls offense inside their own 20-yard line five times during the game.
The Minnesota College Athletic Conference is a member of the National Junior College Athletic Association.

The football conference includes 12 teams which are divided geographically into Eastern and Western Divisions. More information about the conference is available from the league’s website located at http://www.mcac sports.com.
