FPCA boys take three of four games

The First Presbyterian Christian Academy Highlander boys’ basketball team played four games this past week, earning three wins and a loss.

On Feb. 5, FPCA hosted Robert Toombs Christian Academy and won 85-64. Highlander Khalyn Weekley dropped in 27 points, Isaiah Scott had 18 and George Mitchell scored 11. On Feb. 6, the Highlanders traveled to Bethesda Academy losing 75-64 in a heated rivalry matchup.

FPCA turned things around Monday, toppling Habersham Academy 77-18. Tuesday, the Highlanders played at Memorial Day and beat the Matadors 67-52. Scott had 17 points, Trayvon Harris added 16 and Mitchell contributed 11.

On Saturday, the Highlanders were set to play Citizens Christian to close out the regular season. Next week they start region tournament play.

As of Friday afternoon, FPCA was 15-4 overall and 9-0 in GISA Region 2-AA.
