Sigma Theta Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, which was chartered in Hinesville in 2014, will sponsor its first Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. 5K Run/Walk on Jan. 7. The start and end point will be in downtown Hinesville near Zum Rosenhof German Restaurant. Proceeds will help fund scholarships 2017 graduates.
