Former Liberty Count High School Lady Panther softball player Kathryn Carter currently has 12 wins and 2 losses as a pitcher at Valdosta State University.

The Lady Blazer has pitched 88 innings, according to her stats posted to the VSU website. She’s allowed 112 hits, 59 runs of which 51 were earned runs and has 23 strikeouts. Carter has a 5.22 earned run average.

The Blazers took one of three games with Alabama-Huntsville last weekend, with Carter pitching the win. They face West Georgia at home Friday and Saturday.

VSU is 29-12 overall and 15-8 in the NCAA Gulf South Conference.
