The Lady Blue Tide proved they should be thought of as a force to be reckoned with this season by picking up two more wins last weekend.
On Nov. 21, the squad traveled to Lyons to play in the Hugh McBride Invitational. They beat Appling County, 65-47, in their first game. On Nov. 24, they were back in Lyons to take on Toombs County. The Lady Tide beat the Lady Bulldogs, 47-40, improving their overall record to 3-0. On Saturday, the ladies played their first home game at 6 p.m. against Metter High School. The Blue Tide boys played the Tigers at 7:30 p.m.
Results from those games were not available at press time. For a story on the matches, see Wednesday’s Courier.
