The Lady Tigers made their fan base a little nervous as they allowed Riverdale to chip away at an 11 point lead at the start of the fourth quarter.

The Raiders eventually tied the game at 50 with less than four minutes left on the clock but the Lady Tigers managed to hold on for a 55-54 win at home in the Sweet 16 Wednesday night.

Seandre Lee scored 16, Mariah Maternik chipped in 15 and LaNiqua Fowler scored 11 in the nail-biter win sending the girls to the Elite Eight at Fort Valley State Saturday.

They face Redan who eliminated them from the playoffs last year. Tip-off is scheduled for 4 p.m.
