Lady Tigers take win over Warriors

The Bradwell Institute Lady Tigers picked up a win Saturday, while the Bradwell boys’ team lost by one point in games at Tattnall County.
The Lady Tigers won, 52-43, and the Tigers fell, 62-61.
The Lady Tigers had three double-digit scorers in the game. Jakaria Fleming dropped in 18 points. Brianna Johnson chipped in 14 points and Journae’ Young added 11.
The Tigers had a quick early lead and were ahead 44-39 going into the final quarter. The Warriors outscored the Tiger boys by six in the final minutes to claim the win.
No stats were posted for the boys’ game as of Tuesday.
The Lady Tigers are 4-3 overall and 1-1 in Region 3-AAAAA play. The Tigers are 0-5 and 0-1, respectively.
The Tigers were scheduled to play Tuesday at Richmond Hill and will host Statesboro on Friday, starting at 6:30 p.m. with the girls’ game.
