Cardinals take on Phillies in two-game series to nab first place

With only a few games left in the regular season for the Liberty County Recreation Department's adult co-ed softball league, the rest of the recreation's league had their championship games and the winners and runners-up were decided.
In the Pee Wee baseball league the Cardinals had to play three games in a row to take the top spot and championship trophy. They battled the Dodgers and edged out a 6-4 win. They took on the Phillies in a two-game series and won 15-5 and 8-6. The Phillies earned the second place trophy.
In Pee Wee softball the Eagles came out on top with the Hurricanes coming in at second.
