Liberty County High School's last possible shot at a playoff spot crumbled at Donell Woods Stadium Friday night when Glynn Academy eked out a 26-22 win in front of a senior night crowd.
The Red Terrors were up 13-0 at the half but Liberty responded with a touchdown reception from Jarrett Rivers to Tavoris Lewis and a defensive interception returned for a touchdown by Tommy Williams to take a 15-13 lead after a two-point conversion.
Liberty earned a Shadrach Thornton touchdown in the fourth and the home team was up 22-13 when Glynn Academy buckled down and answered with two scores of their own taking the 26-22 win.
In other football news the Groves Rebels defeated Bradwell Institute 28-7.
Tattnall County beat Long County 49-6.
Brunswick beat Richmond Hill 38-37.
