Liberty gets swept
Panthers host Windsor Forest in DH Friday starting at 4:30 p.m.

Panther pitcher Aric Albertson walked three, threw one strikeout and gave up four runs in Liberty's 15-0 loss of game two in Thomson this past Saturday.

The Liberty County High School baseball team was shut out twice in a doubleheader Saturday at Thomson.
The Bulldogs thumped Liberty, 10-0, in the first game and 15-0 in game two.
The losses dropped Liberty to 8-3 overall and 2-2 in Region 3-AAAA.
Liberty’s Colby Rhea pitched 3 innings in game one, giving up six hits, five runs and throwing two strikeouts.
Quindon Montgomery came in for the final 1 1/3 innings, walking two and giving up one run. Thomson’s Tripp Jones gave up only one hit, to Jerrold Clark.

In game two, Thomson’s Morgan Hyde pitched a no-hitter. On offense, the Bulldogs drove in five runs in the first inning and 10 in the second to close the game in three.

The Panthers will be in Garden City on Thursday to play Groves at 4:30 p.m. in a game that was postponed by rain. On Friday, Liberty will host Windsor Forest at in a double-header starting at 4:30 p.m. in a region matchup.
