BI avoids upset at Windsor Forest

Bradwell Institute kept its perfect season alive with a 39-38 win over upset-minded Windsor Forest on Tuesday in Savannah.

The win improved BI to 22-0 overall and 14-0 in Region 3-AAAAA. Bradwell is ranked No. 5 in the most recent Atlanta Journal-Constitution Class AAAAA girls poll.

Lady Tiger Quintunya Chapman had 13 points to lead Bradwell. Windsor Forest’s Trinity Grimes hit a 3-pointer at the buzzer for Windsor Forest.

In the boys contest, BI picked up its fourth win of the year with a 46-43 victory over the Knights. The Tigers improved to 4-16 overall and 4-11 in the region.
