Five Bradwell Institute softball players were named to the All Region 3-AAAAA team.
Lady Tiger Barbara Rego was named to the all-region first team.
Rego played as a pitcher, catcher and shortstop during her senior year.
She recently represented the region and BI softball in the Georgia Dugout Club All State Games on Nov. 11-12 at the South Commons Olympic Softball Complex in Columbus.
Bradwell softball coach Sharyl Eastlake said pitcher Karson Rogers, third baseman Kelissa Hargrove, shortstop Samantha Gonzales and left fielder Ashley Riles received all-region honorable mentions.
“Bradwell Institute had more players recognized than any other school in the region,” Eastlake said.
“I am very proud of the girls.”
