The Long County Fire Department and the Sheriff’s Office have a fundraiser basketball game at 6 p.m. Saturday at Long County Middle School.
All funds from the game will go to the Long County Meals on Wheels program, which delivers hot meals to the elderly and needy. In recent months, funding to the program has been cut.  
Canned-food donations also will be accepted and will go to the Long County Senior Citizen Center food pantry.
Admission is $5. Advanced tickets can be purchased at the sheriff’s office and fire department. Tickets also will be available at the game Saturday.
