The 2013 Georgia Recreation and Parks Association District two softball tournament is being hosted at Liberty County High School. The competition started Tuesday afternoon and the championship game is scheduled to be played today around 5 p.m.

The All-star team representing Liberty County will take the field today at 2 p.m. against Glynn County. The winner of that game advances to the championship round. The loser will play Douglas County at 3:30 p.m. According to Liberty County Recreation Department Director Jimmy Martin the Liberty All-Stars have a good chance of making the finals. The community is encouraged to come out and support the girls.
