The Liberty County High School Lady Panthers have struggled on the diamond of late, losing three games in a row against Region 2A-AAAA opponents.
On Sept. 1, Liberty County (3-15, 0-6)  hosted Ware County and lost 16-0 in three innings. Gator pitcher Savannah Welch pitched a perfect game in that contest, according to ga.prepcountry.com.
On Tuesday, the Lady Panthers fell 13-0 in four innings to Wayne County in Jesup.
Thursday, Liberty County fell 13-2 to Glynn Academy.
Glynn scored a run in the first inning, but the Lady Panthers tied the score after Diamone Johnson singled and stole second, and Brittany Desbiens doubled to center field to drive in Johnson.
In the second inning, the Red Terrors went up 4-1.
The Lady Panthers’ final run came in the bottom of the second when Gabriella Anthony scored on a hit by Johnson.
The Red Terrors added nine more runs for the win.
Liberty will travel to Richmond Hill on Tuesday.
