Liberty County’s basketball teams had a tough night Tuesday at Richmond Hill High School. The Lady Panthers fell 56-23 to the undefeated Lady Wildcats, while the Panther boys’ teams lost, 47-40.
Brianna Reece led the Lady Panthers (1-1) with nine points, Bryonna Graham chipped in eight, including one 3-pointer.
Three Lady Wildcats scored in the double digits, led by Kelara Jackson’s 15 points. Ciara Patrick chipped in 14, and Khadijah Serian added 12. The Liberty boys’ team fell to 0-3 with the loss. Freddie McSwain led the Panthers scoring with 13 points. Jeremiah Bacon chipped in 10 points.
