The Long County High School baseball team held a camp June 24-26 for boys ages 8-12 wanting to improve their skills.
The camp was held at the Long County Recreation Complex.
During the camp, coaches and players worked with the future high-school athletes. Key facets of the game covered included positioning and bat placement, better fielding, smart base running and pitching. Proceeds from the camp went to the Blue Tide’s booster club to help the baseball program.
